I’m currently a second year student at Southampton Solent University studying Business & Management at HND level followed next year by a BSc in Marketing having studied 4 years of computer software development at South Downs College

Without question the “Genie” wheelchair has given me the freedom to do a vast array of activities and attend a vast array of places that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to. I’m able to have eye to eye conversations with friends and family members and maintain the independence to live my life the way which I want to.

Cricket has been a massive part of my life over the last decade, I am the current captain of the Hampshire Cricket Board Incrediball Disability Cricket Team and I’ve also represented Wales against England at Lords, without the genie wheelchair I wouldn’t have been able to have the same quality of life that I currently have so I couldn’t be more grateful. The Genie will continue to go with me wherever I go and I look forward to the opportunities and experiences that await.
