We got married in the chairs, and without them, day-to-day life would be impossible.

As my chair was made to measure, it provides just the right level of support and comfort. The memory foam seat pad, back rest and arm supports are super comfortable and allows me to spend a whole day in the chair without experiencing any pain or issues like sciatica. The high back support and headrest are ideal when travelling in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
For me, the Genie V2 stands out from all other electric wheelchairs, because it has so many different features, allowing me to move into different positions. I can stand fully upright in the chair, recline the back to get more comfy, raise the height of the chair to reach items that are high up, lower the chair to fit my legs under tables, extend the foot riser to stretch and improve circulation and even fully recline the chair into a dentist chair position for that all important sunbathing! I love the way the chair adapts to whatever I’m doing.
Having a Genie V2 has opened up a world of opportunities for me. I’ve been able to visit more places with uneven terrain because the suspension is good and the tyres have a good level of grip. The battery charge is better than previous models so I can go further. It’s also a nice smooth drive and I can adjust the speed as I wish. I’ve also taken my chair abroad a few times, as it folds down allowing it to fit in the aircraft hold.
There are plenty of extras to choose from to help with daily living. I chose the glass table which fixes into the arm rest, so I can eat meals and use my laptop whilst in my chair, even in the garden. I’ve also had a device fitted to the underneath of my chair which locks into the docking device in my WAV so I can travel safely and securely in my Genie.
This is my second Genie wheelchair since I became a full time wheelchair user 13 years ago and I’ve been very happy with how it has enabled me to be comfortable, independent and live my life to the full!

I received my genie v2 in December 2022 and particularly like that it was adapted to meet my needs and allows me to operate the chair changing position and speed whenever I want. I cannot walk or use my hands but it was adapted with buttons on hand control that I just have to touch […]

I have been using my Easyrise wheelchair for around 7 years now and it has made my life and my family’s so much easier. It has eased joint pain which I was getting from other wheelchairs. I am also able to travel a lot further and go on holiday abroad knowing that the wheelchair is […]

A powered standing wheelchair like the Genie V2 allows you to rise to a standing or semi‑standing position at the touch of a button.
Regular standing can improve circulation, help reduce pressure injuries, support bone and joint health and make everyday tasks such as cooking, working at a desk or speaking to people at eye level much easier.
