I've been an owner of Genie V2 standing wheelchair for several years now.

I've found the chair to have really helped in so many ways. I regularly use the different functions for rising to cope with different kerb levels in town, to being able to replace birdfeeders in the garden or just to put groceries away.

The fully standing position also allows me to use my leg muscles in a different way than just sitting down all day long.

I think the chair has given me a sense of independence over a multitude of scenarios.

Last year there was a problem with the standing function only getting to the halfway point. Now I live in Scotland so it's not a quick fix for EasyRise to pop along and sort out. A bit of lateral thinking from Phil and a local electrician, a smartphone and some excellent advice from Phil himself & the dislodged magnets were realigned and the standing function was fixed! First class knowledge and patience to explain were all that was needed.

I think the chair has given me a sense of independence over a multitude of scenarios.
